Superintendent's Message

Dear Students, Parents, Staff, and Community Members,

Welcome to the Scotia-Glenville Central School District! We are committed to fostering an inclusive, engaging, and supportive educational environment for all students. It has been an honor to lead a district that prioritizes academic excellence, innovation, and the overall well-being of every child.

At Scotia-Glenville, our dedicated team of administrators, teachers, support staff, and board members work collaboratively tocreate lifelong learners and responsible citizens. We understand that every student is unique, and our goal is to provide personalized pathways that support each learner’s academic and personal growth.

Reflecting on Our Journey

As we embark on another school year, I also want to share an important personal update. After serving as a superintendent for twenty-one years, I have formally notified the Board of Education of my intention to retire as Superintendent of Schools for the Scotia-Glenville Central School District, effective June 30, 2027.

Throughout my career, and especially during my tenure here, I have been deeply fortunate to call the Scotia-Glenville community my home. Together, as a Board of Education, administrative team, staff, parents, and students, we have faced challenges, celebrated accomplishments, and continuously worked to create opportunities for our students to learn, grow, and thrive. I am immensely proud of everything we have accomplished together, and I remain grateful for the trust, support, and partnership you have extended to me.

Looking Ahead

As we begin this school year, my focus remains steadfast on preparing our students for success in a rapidly changing world. I look forward to working alongside you throughout the upcoming school year to wrap up key initiatives and ensure our schools continue to thrive.
